MOVIES

Ironically, my husband and I watched the movie: Heaven Is For Real the night prior to losing our daughters. It's a sad but great reminder of the eternal glory they are experiencing right now and what we will one day experience ourselves. I think these type of movies can help remind us that we're not alone. Here are some that are recommended. You can click on the title and it will bring you to the link to purchase the movie if you wish.

Return to Zero

A couple navigate their way through a pregnancy filled with doubt, grief and trepidation.

Heaven is for Real

A small-town father must find the courage and conviction to share his son's extraordinary, life-changing experience with the world.

Silent Cradle

A woman has a miscarriage. After her grief becomes bearable, she attempts to adopt a baby, but discovers evidence that her baby might not have been dead when it was removed from her stomach. If so, who took the baby, why and where?

The Sweet Hereafter

This film documents the effects of a tragic bus accident on the population of a small town.

Ordinary People

The accidental death of the older son of an affluent family deeply strains the relationships among the bitter mother, the good-natured father, and the guilt-ridden younger son.

Everything Put Together

The story of a Californian couple expecting a child and their group of friends confronted with the tragedy of a big loss.

Rabbit Hole

Life for a happy couple is turned upside down after their young son dies in an accident.
